Not Bad
It wouldn't be an Invicta without something wrong with it....not too bad though. It is definitely gun-metal not Black-IP as the Amazon description states and the brushed areas are a little blotchy. There is also about 1/16 of an inch of play in the bezel when pushed in the opposite direction than the way it is intended to turn again not too bad--good price $265. The bezel is pretty tight so as long I don't rotate the bezel too much and loosen it up it shouldn't be a problem and the blotchy finish is barely noticable.
I had an Invicta arrive missing a case back screw one with blothy plateing another that had an hour marker fall off the dial and one that had the second hand fall off. This SAN III is a whole lot better than the Akula I got that was not keeping time at all when it arrived--defective movement I had to have the movement completely disassembled cleaned and put back together to get the watch working.
Not bad Invicta...you only screwed it up a little and that's pretty good for you. If they didn't have such good looking designs I would never buy one of their never-know-what-your-gonna-get-watches ever again!!! I'm like a battered spouse that keeps coming back for more!

Great Watch
I've had this watch for about 3 days now and I am liking it more each day.
When I first received the watch I was a bit worried about the ability to easily read the reverse LCD display though after a while and testing it out in bright sunlight it is very easy to read. The features on this watch are fantastic. The manual is quite large but there is great information in there and it makes you appreciate the watch even more. Synching the watch works great it hasn't failed yet when it auto-synchs during the night. I am very happy with this watch and have no regrets with this purchase.
Pros: 1. Tons of useful features. Compass moon phase altitude Baro Pres and tide are very nice to have.
2. Looks great with the reverse LCD screen.
3. Very comfortable and not too big like one would think.
4. All around great watch.
Cons: 1. Temperature is only accurate after taking the watch off your wrist and letting it aclimate for 15- 20 minutes (per instruction manual).
2. Bezel turns much to easily. When worn under a sweatshirt or jacket it turns from the simple pressure
of your clothes.
These cons though are minor in my opinion and I am happy with the purchase. Enjoy the watch if you choose to buy it.

Lookin' goodThe Seiko watch that I purchased from Amazon is accurate and durable. I do a bit of gardening and it still looks like new the crystal unmarred even after the rigors of being on my wrist while I work in the garden. I would purchase it again but I don't think I'll need a new watch for quite some time.

Good looking blingIt's a great looking watch and thinner than the clumps of metal that pass as mens watches.
I've had several comments from guys believe it or not. It makes a change from the silver/steel and gold you see everywhere.
Only negative the second chrono hand is a bit hard to see as it is so thin.
Accuracy is a given with Seiko.
Arrived in perfect condition Amazon was best price.
The watch is not actually Kinetic it has been misnamed. It is battery but I knew that before I bought it.

SatisfiedBeen very satisfied with this watch so far. I was really concerned about the size but this slim pathfinder fits the bill. Most of the current pathfinder watches are behemoths that are oversized for my wrist. This one is large but not oversized I wouldn't want to go any bigger myself. (56.9 x 47.4 x 11.5mm / 60g) Most of the other pathfinder are in the (62.3 x 52.2 x 14.2mm / 78g) range. So I get the same features but a little smaller footprint.
Features:
The compass has been spot on with a handheld compass I checked it against.
The altimeter calibrates by pressure and temp. So it needs to be adjusted for current conditions before you start a trip. It's varied widely so far. Also changed the display to read in feet and not in meters. It goes in 20 foot intervals.
The barometer stays a little below what weather sources say actual pressure is but I'm looking for trends in pressure not the actual pressure(at least I am). Rising as a trend improving weather falling pressure as a trend deteriorating weather. Can also change the display for pressure from hPa to inHg.
Had to manually set the thermometer and it's been in the ballpark with the real temp. Which once again was what I was after not precise readings so I am happy with it.
There a few mountains in the area I'm in so I was a little concerned about the atomic time keeping. When I took it out of the box it hadn't updated in about two months. I wasn't able to manually update until later in the night around 11 pm est. Every night since it's sync'd it's time automatically sometimes while even on my wrist. It tires at 12:00 1:00 and 2:00.
Really like the large display for the time. Very easy to see at a glance.

Stopwatch is a stopwatch and works.
Countdown time is easy to config and start.
Haven't set any alarms yet. The watch can also set to silent. Can chime on each hour too.
Not using the auto backlight.
I'd give the watch about 4 and a quarter stars but since I can't do a quarter I'll go ahead and give it 5.

classic style perfect!I was looking for a classic style watch like a cartier but without the price tag. I also wanted quality and not some cheep cartier replica so this seiko is perfect! Some people who reviewed this watch have suggested that it is too small but I think it is perfect- this size makes it a classic. If it were bigger it would look like a men's watch which I know a lot of women are buying since they prefer that look but if your taste is more along the lines of a classic Cartier tank watch and you want to spend a lot less this is perfect.

Perfect watch for a seriously picky guy I got this watch for Christmas to my surprise because I am extremely picky about watches and generally don't wear them; but I have to say I really love this timepiece. I have always been bothered by watches that don't fit well slide up and down my wrist are bulky heavy or have extraneous features that I will never use. If you can identify with any of these complaints then this might possibly be the perfect watch for you.
The watch is extremely lightweight due to the simple slim design of the face as well as the mesh band. It doesn't feel clunky or gaudy so needless to say if you're looking to impress people with your *bling* you should probably consider something else.
Right out of the box all of the features are intuitive. Setting the time and date does not even require the included instructions (although you should probably read them just in case); and there are not a bunch of esoteric features crammed onto the face like a barometric pressure monitor or stock ticker. The extra features are Day Date and 24 hour reference...essential features without going overboard.
The band can be fit to your wrist extremely easily without removing links or requiring any specific jewelers tools. The latch mechanism is loosened and slides easily to provide a perfect fit for large or small wrists. The slim face wont catch on your shirt sleeves and the mesh band wont constantly rip out the hair on your forearm (a constant problem I have dealt with in the past).
Bottom line: This watch features classic Scandinavian design. All the essential features stylish look and feel and real-world functional design. Lightweight but not cheap. Perfect for a lifelong stickler about watches. My recommendation is go check one out at a jewelry or department store and if you love it buy it on Amazon to get a better price.

beauty and functionThis is the first watch I've ever owned that caused people to spontaneously compliment my taste in timepieces. It's *very* good looking and the photos you'll find do not do it justice. It's not exactly black but when you look at it face-on it's nearly black in most settings. From the side though it's a rich dark gray. The contrasting gloss and matte titanium finishes are very pleasing. The crystal is gorgeous and though the many features may make it seem a bit busy at first you will find it clear and user-friendly. Controls are very smooth and responsive. It is comfortable and despite being largely steel under the titanium shell it is not a heavy watch. The fact that it's a great bargain should not go unnoticed either. The vendor left their retail price sticker on the package when they shipped it and I can only say I was very satisfied when I compared this to what I paid. This is an excellent watch. Durable and functional enough to wear in nearly any setting and also attractive enough to inspire spontaneous "Wow that's a great watch!" comments from people. Highly recommended. I am delighted with it.

nice watch not blackI purchased this watch as an alternative to the Citizen nighthawk. On the computer they are similar although not identical. When I received the pulsar and opened the package I thought I had received the wrong watch. The color is actually dark gray. Very sleek and impressive great watch but not black. Another reviewer made the same comment about the color but I did not take him seriously. Even though its not black still a very nice watch.

Best in class!I just picked this watch up after realizing I didn't want to wear my Tag watch everyday... go figure. I got this watch because it fits in with my job military pilot... after comparing all the other similar watches on the market I chose this one. It's comfortable stong and it looks great. The coolest feature is the ECO Drive... it's got a battery meter on the dial to show how much charge you have. It's pretty cool when you take the watch out of the case if you put it away for a while it goes into some sort of power saving mode when it's in pitch black and when the light hits it again the dials spin around to catch up to the current time... kinda cool and it lets you know this is really a high tech time piece! The other features on it take a little while to get used to. I love the time zone features and that this has the look of an analog watch with all the features of a digital watch. Haven't had a chance to use the bezel yet... more of a novelty than anything else I think... however it gives the watch a unique look and distinguishes it from a lot of other watches... if you're comparing it to other watches like it with the bezels and all. I would definately go for this one. I picked black because it's a little different than my other watches and because I prefered a black watch in what I wear to work. Just pick what color you like best there's a few different looks to choose from. The black is really good looking though. It's got the competition beat in features value appearance comfort... you name it this watch is best in class! You won't be disappointed!

Great product...would recommend to anyoneI am currently deployed to Iraq and the watch I came with stopped working so I thought I'd order a new watch. I wanted something that didn't require a battery wouldn't stop working and that was reliable. Having owned a Seiko kintetic in the past it was natural for me to look at their selection.
I settled on this one because I don't need the bling. I like the black finish and red dial. I recieved this watch very quickly (I'm in Iraq) and began wearing immediately. I have had no issues with it and love it. This watch is not bulky like I expected it to be very low profile on your wrist and wears comfortably. I wear this watch on combat missions during PT in the gym everywhere. I only take it off when I sleep.
I would recommend this watch to anyone looking for good quality and a nice masculine watch.

This is an awesome (looking) watch.Okay I admit that I was looking for a watch that was more about looks than function. I wanted something that looked different from the normal "run of the mill" watches that you find everywhere.
When searching Amazon for different choices I was immediately drawn to the black Citizen Nighthawk. The black metal band and watch is a rarity among watches. The watch face was really appealing especially with the large numbers and red 24 hour numbers.
I did read the Amazon product description and knew that it came with Eco-Drive. That was a real plus since I may never have to replace the rechargeable battery. Most watches are never water resistant after the battery has been replaced.
I purchased the watch and I've had it for about 6 months. First I have to say that the watch is beautiful. I've had multiple comments about the watch from people who apparently agree. I also love the large numbers and hands. The watch is easy to read in both light and dark. The mineral crystal is so clear that it's like it isn't even there. The Eco-Drive works flawlessly and changing the date is a breeze.
If you don't like large heavy watches then this watch is not for you. But if awesome looks and black stainless steel appeals to you then you can't do better than this watch.
